Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pa. Yazir was a bright young musician in the making. When of age, Yazir began his journey of music through the study of African drums with his grandfather. Learning the African drums opened his mind to music overall, allowing him to expand his interest in music theory & production. After years of playing with a drill team, he engaged in rapping, producing & deejaying for his neighborhood friends and family. He built a studio in his mothers basement at the age of fifteen and became so dedicated that other interests grabbed his attention. Spending four years in a music based high school, he gained an interest in visual artistry, which later allowed him to attend college to learn filmmaking, video & sound production. This allowed him to gain knowledge in the field of filmmaking where he later began to work for high class clients such as Vivica A. Fox, Kifja Vick & many more. Although he had success in the entrepreneur film scene, his love for music never died. When the work would slow down, back to music he would go and thus having previous experience in deejaying, he began hitting the club, bar & private event scene. This gave Yazir the opportunity to be signed by Lil Mo, an American singer, songwriter, rapper, television & radio personality. She is best known for her 2001 hit single Superwoman Pt.II featuring Fabolous.
